Our Mom

Our Mom waa a fun loving person. She grew up in Somerville, MA. She was the youngest of 5 children of Elizabeth and Antonio Magliozzi. Her mother passed away when our Mom was only 9 years old, so she was raised by her father and her 4 siblings . Our mother met and married our Dad on September 18, 1949. ahee wedding was postponed from 1948. because her father passed away. Her and my father raised 4 children Louis Jr. born January 30, 1951 died June 15, 2024, Diane Elizabeth born December 21, 1954, Michael Anthony born March 28, 1956, and Barbara Ann born October 13, 1959. Nancy worked many part time jobs while raising her family, but I can remember her always being there when I got home from school. Our father always worked two jobs and was never really home. Mom was an active person. She waa an active member of Sons of Italy in Woburn, enjoyed bowling leagues and playing BINGO. She enjoyed going to Casinos with our Dad in her later years. She loved her children very much but loved her 8 grandchildren even more. I never understood that until I had my own grandchildren….
