Bernadette was born in Hugo, MN to Mesael Joseph and Julia Eva Mirin. Graduating from Forest Lake High School in 1946. Bernadette farmed her entire life on the family farm and took great pride in raising her 9 children and taking care of her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, praying, gardening and especially fun times with her family.

Ding Goose
Ding Goose, a Mikrot favorite following Easter. Grandma was a champion at this game always getting the kids before they even had a chance to get her. They smile still while reminiscing about staying at Grandma’s and her getting each kid with water say ding goose, and giggle at each one.
