The Heart of Our Family

From the very first day I met Vicki, she made me feel welcome. When Jack brought me over for lunch, she welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like part of the family. That was who Vicki was—someone who had a remarkable ability to make people feel loved, accepted, and at home. Above all else, Vicki loved her family, and nothing brought her more joy than being Grandma to Xandra and Luca. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Although she wasn't always able to get down on the floor to play or join in every activity, she never let that stop her from showing them how deeply she loved them. Xandra and Luca always knew they were treasured. Vicki celebrated their accomplishments, listened to their stories, and took pride in watching them grow. Her love was present in every hug, every conversation, every smile, and every moment she spent with them. She had a special way of making them feel important, valued, and unconditionally loved. Vicki shared many things with her grandchildren, including her creativity and love of crafting. She found joy in making beautiful things with her hands, and that joy lives on in Xandra. In honor of Grandma, Xandra will continue crafting, carrying forward a tradition that connected them and keeping Vicki's memory alive through every project she creates. The love Vicki gave to Xandra and Luca is a gift that will stay with them forever. It will guide them, comfort them, and remind them that they were loved beyond measure by a grandmother who adored them with all her heart. We will remember Vicki for her caring spirit, her strength, her generosity, and the love she poured into her family. Though we will miss her deeply, we are grateful for the memories she leaves behind and the countless ways she made our lives better. Vicki's legacy is one of love—a love that lives on through her boys, her grandchildren, and everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
