Aidan Jacob Rumbolz
Great Warrior. Everyone's Favorite. The Best Part.
Aidan's life in pictures posted to All Souls website obituary section. Great Warrior. Everyone's Favorite. The Best Part. Diagnosed with Large Cell anaplastic medulloblastoma on 9/8/2025. Before this he was a fun loving, athletic, competitive boy who loved baseball, football, video games, shows, movies, music, the beach, the river, Thursday night dinner at Grandma's with his aunties and cousins, youtube, tiktok, food, candy, cherry coke, slurpies, cats, friends, family and teammates. He was in round 3 of chemo when he developed fluid build-up in his brain. We spent 43 day in the PICU. He had 4 brain surgeries during that time. We discovered return of disease during that time. The swelling in his brain plus surgeries caused herniation of the cerebellum into the brainstem cavity somewhere between 5/12/26 and 5/19/26. We learned that our boy would not recover. We took him off the ventilator on at 9:05am on 5/25/2026, his 14th birthday. We sang him happy birthday first, surrounded by the Rumbolz family and his baseball family. He stay with us until 9:36am. We buried him at All Souls cemetery in Long Beach where his Great Granny and Granpa were layed to rest on 6/3/2026. Three days before his dad's birthday. Six days before his sister's. we will love him and miss him every moment of everyday until we are reunited in heaven.
