Olive Maxine Cleveland
Olive Maxine Cleveland, age 93, of Nappanee, died at 12:36 a.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Lakeland Healthcare, Milford where she had been a resident for 5 weeks. She was born November 2, 1923 to Lawrence and Iona (Hornsby) Moyer in LaPaz, Indiana. Mrs. Cleveland was a lifetime area resident. She was a 1942 graduate of Nappanee High School. On June 24, 1944 she married Robert E. Cleveland in Bourbon. He preceded her in death March 24, 1989. Mrs. Cleveland was a homemaker. She loved her family, they were the center of her world.
She is survived by her children, Mike (Diane) Cleveland, LaPorte, Robert (Bobbi) Cleveland, Jr., Leesburg, Marsha Hunsberger, Topeka; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Paul Moyer, Lowell Moyer; and a sister, Phyllis Bleile.
Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2017 followed by a 12 p.m. funeral service at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. Burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery.
