If you knew David, you knew how to laugh.
He was the life of the party, the guy on the dance floor, the host of every family gathering, and the person who could make an ordinary night unforgettable. He had a go big or go him attitude whether it was a backyard barbecue, a holiday, or a fireworks show, David loved bringing people together and making sure everyone was having a good time.
He never took life too seriously and always had a joke ready. His laughter was contagious, his stories were endless, and he had a way of making everyone around him feel welcome. To the kids in the family, he was the fun uncle. To his friends, he was the friend who would show up no matter what. To everyone else, he was simply someone you were happy to know.
But what made David truly special wasn’t just his sense of humor, it was his heart.
He was one of the most generous people you could ever meet. He would have given the shirt off his back to help a complete stranger and never expected anything in return. If someone needed help, David was there. If someone was struggling, he found a way to make things better.
Above all else, David was a father.
His children, Chloe and Isaac, were his whole world. Nothing made him prouder than being their dad, and there was nothing he loved more than spending time with them. They were his greatest joy, his greatest accomplishment, and the center of his life.
David also loved his family, his friends, and his dogs. He believed life was meant to be shared with the people you love, and he made sure those people knew how much they meant to him.
David passed away far too young at just 44 years old. His parents, siblings, children, family, and countless friends continue to miss him every day. The hardest part of losing David is knowing there should have been so much more time, more laughter, more stories and more memories.
If you’re reading this and never had the chance to meet him, you missed out on a truly special person.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever 44💛

Sisters visiting the bench in Oakville
Coronation park Oakville - Memorial Bench
My dad, David, loved this view long before his name was placed here. We moved to Oakville when I was two years old, and Coronation Park became part of our family’s story. Morning dog walks before and after school, ice cream runs, picnics, sunsets after soccer games, and countless days spent by the lake became some of my favorite memories with him. After my dad passed away in 2021, I wanted a place in Oakville to honour him, the town where we spent 18 years together and built a lifetime of memories. This bench overlooks the view he loved most and serves as a reminder of all the moments we shared here. This bench isn’t where I go to find my dad. It’s where I come to remember him. the way he laughed, the way he loved our family, and the life we shared here in Oakville. Forever loved. Forever missed. David Adams 1976–2021 A view he loved, a life we cherish. 🤍
