Life story
Matthew was an amazing young man. He was brave, loving, strong, and loved God. He never met a stranger. He almost always had a smile on his face. He loved music, pets, and family! He was an amazing son and brother! He will forever be loved!
I hung out with Matthew every now and then, and got to spend prom night with him and my friends. We got him into the middle of the dance floor, cracked jokes, and just overall acted like goofballs. Matthew made the night 100x better. We'll miss you bud.

Newsies
I did Newsies with Matthew in 2024 and we had a scene together, id never seen a kid so happy for only a couple of lines, if there is anything you can take away from Matthew it’s to do everything with a full heart and a smile on your face.
Matthew told me during lunch one day that he was going to ask a girl to go to Homecoming with him. I asked if he was sure he wanted to do it in front of everyone. He looked at me and said “Shooters gotta shoot!!!” with a big smile on his face. I will always remember that smile… (BTW she said yes) 😊❤️❤️

Tales from the lunchroom
Matthew brought us so many laughs and good memories during our time at lunch. Whether it was a question about Chuck, and friendly discussion about the best college football team, or his experience driving for the first time, he always made us laugh. I will miss these conversations but they are something I will cherish forever. Rest in peace Matthew and continue to sing and dance, you were truly one of a kind!!
