Life story

Paul was born June 2, 1932 to Samuel and Effie Dalious. He had an older brother, Harold. Paul worked several jobs over the years and retired from Autoneum (Magee Carpet). He married Marguerite Wagner of Aristes August 16, 1958. The next year they welcomed their first child, George. They went on to have four more, Darla, Paula, Harold, and Linda.

Paul, while working full-time, began working as a PA District Forest Warden. He continued this for 50 years. During this tenure he assisted at numerous wildfires both in PA and in other states throughout the country.

Peg worked first at Bloomsburg College in the Food Service Department and later as head cook at Danville Area Child Development Center.

Peg and Paul were very family oriented and enjoyed many family gatherings.

Paul and Peg were blessed with eight grand children (Tristan, Alex, Denise, Adam, Samantha, Kristine, Tyler, and Hunter). Paul succumbed to Pneumonium in 2016 before he could meet his four great-grandchildren (Cecelia, Lily, Evie, and Ronin). He would have loved all of them.

Peg got to meet all four great-grandchildren before passing April 17, 2025.

We miss and love them both. 🙏🏼💞

Mom & Dad

From my earliest memories, you were my constant. You offered protection, guidance, and reassurance without hesitation, creating a foundation that allowed me to grow with confidence and security. You balanced discipline with compassion, teaching responsibility while always making it clear that love was not conditional or withdrawn. Even when we disagreed, your commitment never wavered. You showed me how to approach challenges with resilience and how to treat others with fairness, patience, and understanding. The absence of your steady presence is something I feel deeply each day. I miss your advice and the comfort of knowing you believed in me without question. I remain grateful for the sacrifices you made and the strength and integrity you instilled in me throughout my life.
