Susan K St. Clair
Susan K. St. Clair
Mar 21, 1951 - May 19, 2026
Susan K. St. Clair, 75, of Dunbar, formerly of Belle Vernon, was received into the arms of her Savior surrounded by the love of her family and the peace of Jesus Christ on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. A woman of unwavering faith, compassion, and grace, Susan leaves behind a legacy rooted deeply in love for God and devotion to her family.
Born March 21, 1951, in Brownsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Donna Mae Porter. Susan was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rev. Dr. Thomas St. Clair, with whom she shared a life of faithful ministry and enduring love.
Susan dedicated many years of faithful service as an administrative assistant with California University of Pennsylvania in the Graduate Office and later with Westmoreland County Community College prior to her retirement. Her humble kindness, strength and servant’s heart touched countless lives both professionally and personally.
To her family, she was lovingly known as “Nanny,” a name that captured the warmth, wisdom, and unconditional love a grandmother so freely gave. Susan’s love for her family was second to none. Her children described her as a true Proverbs 31 woman; a woman of noble character whose life reflected Christ in both word and action. Through her steadfast faith, Susan raised her family upon the foundation of God’s unconditional love, a legacy that continues to shape generations and will carry on for years to come.
Susan is survived by her loving children, Rev. Jeffrey (Jenn) T. St. Clair, of Saegertown, PA; Jennifer (Eric) Martin, of Dunbar, PA; and Jamie (Casey) Davis, of Belle Vernon, PA.
“Nanny” is also survived by her eight incredible grandchildren: Aaron St. Clair, Alayna (Minsung) Jeon, Abigail St. Clair, McKenzie Martin, Logan Martin, Katelynn Davis, Braden Davis, and Tommy Davis. Susan leaves behind her soon-to-be great-grandchildren, Jax Swaney and Jaeden Jeon, who will forever be part of the beautiful legacy she helped begin. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Stuie.
Susan’s life was marked by gentleness, humility, prayer, and a deep trust in Jesus Christ. Whether through a comforting word, a warm slice of homemade banana bread, a handwritten card, or faithful prayers offered quietly behind the scenes, she ministered to others daily. Her home was a place of welcome, laughter, and steadfast love. Though her family grieves deeply, they rejoice, knowing she now rests eternally with her Lord and Savior, whom she faithfully served throughout her life.
