Ruth “Nanny” Fields

Ruth grew up in rural KY on the current site eof Buckhorn Lake. She met Walker Fields there and later moved to Detroit, then eventually to Williamsburg Ohio. She lived there on Broadway across from the old high school for the rest of her life. She worked at Dualite. She then went on to Work at GE Aircraft Engines in Sharonville. During her career she was a union rep.

She and Walker had 4 kids. Linda, Pam and Roger, their 4 child Larry, died at a very young age. They went on to have grandchildren Brandon, Brett, Shawna, Cyndy. Great grandchildren Seth, Lexi, Madison, Eli, Abby, Walker.
She and Walker were very active in all of their lives.

She and Walker enjoyed family, traveling, and company. They also loved their dogs.
Ruth started life with no running water or electricity but lived long enough to have an active Faceook account.

She was known by many as Nanny. She was loved dearly by almost anyone who met her.
