Raised in Clay County, Alabama, Sharon graduated from Lineville High School and attended Gadsden State Community College to pursue a career in surgical technology, in which she still works on as as-needed basis. Currently residing in the Ofelia area with her husband Whit Husbands, she is now serving Randolph County with her work at Benefield Funeral Home after graduating from the Jefferson State College of Mortuary Science in 2022. She is a certified grief counselor offering grief support to our community through Days Between Grief Counseling.
