Michael Luke Hogan Obituary
Michael Luke Hogan
June 25, 1966 - April 21, 2026
Michael Luke Hogan, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026.
Michael was a devoted father, grandfather, husband, and a loyal friend. A man known for his genuine kindness and steady presence. He spent his life doing what he could for the people around him- whether that meant offering a helping hand, sharing what he had, or simply showing up when it mattered most. Those who knew him will remember his willingness to listen, his quiet strength, and the way he put others before himself.
Above all, Michael loved and was devoted to his family. He took pride in being a father and grandfather and worked hard to provide support and guide his children through life. He adored his wife and was an honorable and caring husband. His love was constant, even in difficult times, and it will continue to be felt by those he leaves behind.
Michael is survived by his wife, Diane Hogan, his children Jessika Zaner, Michaela Hogan, Deven Hogan, and Megan Kawa, his grandchildren, and Dillon and Oliver Zaner.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Jane Foxley, his Father, Michael J. Hogan, and his father’s life long companion, Patricia Richards.
Michael enjoyed fishing, travelling, and picking on his children and grandchildren. His smile and laugh were absolutely contagious, and he could light up a room.
Michael faced struggles that he carried privately, and his passing is a reminder of how important compassion and understanding are for those who may be hurting. He will be deeply missed and remembered for the light he brought to the lives of others and those close to him.
Family will receive friends on Monday, April 27th, from 5-7pm at Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler, West Center Chapel with a Prayer Service at 6pm.
Funeral: Tuesday, April 28th, 10:00am at King of Kings Lutheran Church Millard (11615 I Street).
Interment: Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family asks that donations be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. You can make a donation at www.afsp.org.
