Micah was one of my closest friends. Even though distance separated us, he was always there for me no matter what I was going through. I could talk to him for hours, even when there was nothing to talk about. What drew me to him most was his sense of humor. Sometimes I still catch myself cracking a joke that everyone else thinks is lame, but I can almost hear Micah laughing like it was the funniest thing in the world. He was a great problem solver he always had a solution, always knew how to give me a different perspective. I remember the nights our whole group, including Bryant, would stay up playing the game. Those were some of the best nights of my life. We’d laugh so hard my mom would come tell me to quiet down. And as soon as 5 a.m. hit, me and Micah would head out to fish, still on the phone with each other. We’d brag about who caught the bigger fish, then rush home for a fish‑cooking competition. He always won he was a great cook but I’d never admit it to him. We’d do it all again the next day, unless sports or family got in the way. That was our routine. That was our friendship. It hurts deeply to know I’ve lost my buddy. But I will always love him, and I hope he knew that. We always sent each other random texts saying “I love you, be safe.” That was just who we were. Forever you, Micah. -Lil Josh

Im a friend of micah’s. micah was a kind loyal goofy person which I know is said at every memorial but no one was like micah.kind loyal and goofy is how we should forever remember him. micah’s the type of person you never forget even if you meet him once. he somehow leaves a impact on every life he enters. micah was so selfless in so many ways he showed up for everyone without a second thought he was extremely random and hilarious but thats what made micah micah. we should all make a effort to live like micah on even half of our days. this being a celebration of his life I wanted to celebrate the awesome baseball player he was the goofy student the hilarious friend the son the grandson the brother the cousin the teammate and so much more. everyone knew micah as something different but always knew him as sweet and loving and never forgetting his dimples. I’m so grateful to have made all the memories I have and be able to look back on them he was a light in everyone’s life and had a way of making people feel seen. I’ll forever remember his laugh which made everyone around him absolutely break down with laughter as well.all of the talks with micah regardless of being about everything going on in our lives or about nothing and just sitting with each other’s presence is something I’ll never forget we could sit there for hours laughing and joking and it never got boring. not everyone gets a good friend in their lives and God gave me the best and most genuine one I could’ve asked for. All of the calls hangouts and memories I’ll carry for life. in his 16 years he touched a tremendous amount of people without even trying there will always be a special place in my heart for micah and I know I’m not alone in that because of how deeply he was loved. this is the hardest goodbye I’ve ever had to say rest in peace micah we will forever keep your name alive we love you brochacho- Aniyah
