Gina 'Tina' Marie Pollitt Gilbert McDonald
Gina Marie “Tina” McDonald, age 58, of Alexandria, Kentucky, passed away on February 20, 2021. She was born in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, on March 2, 1962, a daughter of Wayne and Martha Ruth Miller Pollitt. She was a member of Community Church of God.
She is survived by: her father, Wayne Pollitt; her mother, Marty (Butch) Ringwald; her husband, Jim McDonald; two sons, Danny (Heather) Gilbert and Justin (Diana) McDonald; three daughters, Tonya Gilbert, Tasha (the late Phillip) Ellington and Krista (Steve Miller) McDonald; four brothers, Paul (Cathy) Carson, Jr., Steven Carson, Robert Carson and Carl Wilson, Jr.; four sisters, Jayne (Guy) Ortlieb, Jenni (Ray) Savage, Traci (Mark) Moore and Brandi Huff; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25, at Cooper Funeral Home. Services will begin at 8:00 p.m. Graveside burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 26, at Peach Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to a charity of your choice. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
