Ian Grayson Ownby
“Live to Ride, Ride to Live”
There is much to be said about Ian and all of his accomplishments at such a young age. He genuinely enjoyed life. He had plans everyday to live life to the fullest, He did not know the mundane that so many of us experience later on. He still had that magic of life about him. If you crossed paths with him, you were considered a friend. And he had so many! Ian found God at an early age, and he was so proud of that. He was not ashamed to share him with anyone. Ian began working at the age of 12. At the age of 20, he had better work ethic than most 40 year olds. He advanced fast wherever he was employed, and everyone knew who he was. He loved his family and his girlfriend. If he wasn’t calling, he was stopping by to check in. Most kids his age don’t take the time to get to know their grandparents. But it was at the top of his list of things to do. He was an amazing kid with so many talents. He could literally do ANYTHING! He excelled in sports, but didn’t get very interested in just one thing. He would finish out the season then try something else the following year. The one thing that he has stuck with were the motorcycles. He loved his BMW. He was on that thing every chance that he got. He felt invincible, like he could fly, like a super human. He went out doing what he loved!
