Life story

Chris Butcher was a big deal. He was a wild thing at heart who lived fully and lived fast, and above all else he loved hard, completely and unconditionally. He was born with a fire inside him. It began as an all-consuming blaze, and he spent his life tending it until it became the warmest glow, the kind that keeps people warm in their darkest moments. He became a protector and a comforter.

Chris became an anchor for his family. He was the kind of father who used everything he had to make sure his children were taken care of. His assignment in life was harder than most, yet he met each hardship head on. He reinvented himself again and again as he needed to. He became an expert in surviving, adapting, healing, forgiving and loving, and he shared that wisdom with people from all walks of life. He valued all life in the most profound way.

Chris devoted himself to his ARM family. Many there called him "St. Nick", and the group strived to lead their best lives while doing good and riding motorcycles. He took an active part in its toy drives, charity work and community. He spent his life saving himself so that he could save other people. He passed away on March 18, 2025, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and his legacy lives on in his people.
