Life story

Denise Marriage was born on October 25, 1956, in Danville, Illinois. She spent her working life close to people, and her compassion and warmth stayed with her throughout her career. She connected easily with others and was a cherished presence among friends and family.

Denise had a vibrant personality and a joyful spirit. She loved socializing with friends and family and found happiness in the moments they shared. Family always came first for her, especially her grandchildren, who brought her great joy and pride.

Denise was an exceptional cook. She filled her home with good meals and warm memories around the dinner table, and sharing her cooking was one of the ways she showed her love.

Denise passed away on December 21, 2025, in Danville, Illinois, at the age of 69. She is survived by her daughters Misty (Derrick) Moody and Brandi (Jaffet Mora) Monge. Her grandchildren are Dylan (Macey) Dalbey, Charity (Andrew) Osborn and Harlee Gustin, and her great-grandson is Crew Dalbey. She is also remembered by her sisters Joleen (Theo Hill) Adams, Sherri (Tim Landers) Adams and Paula (Ali) Hussain, her brother Jason (Sue) Johnson, and many nieces and nephews. Her parents, Charles and Mary (Shelato) Adams, and her brothers Paul Andrews and Max Adams died before her.

Miss you so much sis. Love all the memories and messages everyone shared. I hope you truly felt how much everyone loved you. You have definitely left a hole in our hearts and lives since you left this earth. I will always hold dear to my heart the memories we made together and fun times we had. I have to go through some photos so I can post them on here. Sherri mentioned she sang happy birthday to you and Paul D on your birthday. What’s hard when our birthdays come around we no longer get that loving call from you singing happy birthday to us. 😢. Miss you more than you’ll ever know. I see you once in a while in my dreams and you are so much more happier and healthier and that makes my heart feel good. ❤️❤️
