Elijah James Piotrowski
Elijah Piotrowski was born May 20, 2000. Son of Kim Piotrowski and Cyndi Guynes. He met the person he called his mom, Kimberly Johns, just before his 10th birthday. Eli was a kind hearted, loving person. He cared so deeply for the people he loved! He was easy-going and funny as well. He loved being outdoors, spending valuable time with friends and family, and playing cribbage, disc golf, and video games. Elijah endured numerous challenges in his life. He had birth defects he struggled with his entire life. He had emotional trauma from the lack of contact with his biological mother from an early age. He was bullied in school . And later he struggled with addiction. Throughout all of this he lived his life on his terms. Elijah loved working and always took his work seriously- he loved his job at the Holiday Inn in Stevens Point. Elijah had many great people in his life who cared deeply about him. His grandma Carol was his rock and he loved her fiercely! His best friends Dan and Mandi were some of his largest supports and Elijah knew he was always welcome at their home. Elijah’s relationship with his mom and dad grew much stronger over the last few years of his life as he realized how much support and love he truly needed. Him and his dad enjoyed disc golf together regularly. Him and his mom (Kim) spent time together each week, sometimes several times per week and talked regularly; he always knew she was only a phone call or text away! Elijah will be missed by so many people he touched in various ways throughout his short 26 years on this earth. There is not a day that goes by without him in our thoughts and memories! We love you to the end of the universe and back kid!
