Life story

Cydney was a very special person to many people, her husband, her mama and deddy, siblings, grandparents, her mother and father in law, brother and sister in law, and her niece and nephews.

She loved everybody, no matter where they were, what they did or what they were doing. She loved her mama and nana a lot, she would call them everyday when she left work and she would help them with anything they ever needed. Cydney was the office manager for her Deddy’s chiropractor offices. She enjoyed spending time with her deddy and talking with all the people who came in. She also had strong love for her siblings especially Austin.

Cydney and my mama and deddy always got along great, they loved her like she was one of their daughters and she loved them like they were her parents too. Her and mama knew they could shop, shop till they fell over, lord knows they could spend some money. She would always call my deddy and ask him for the answers to questions like if rocks could grow or not. Their biggest thing was such way was north, he never got her to say north just isn’t the way she was facing.

Cydney and Kendall were almost just alike, that’s why they got along so good. You get the two together and me and Isaiah didn’t stand a chance. Between them conspiring to buy things they didn’t need or to bother Isaiah about having to go to work when she was off.

Cydney also loved her niece and nephews. Her and Emmersyn Kate especially were close. All the sleepovers, the almost daily phone calls, and if you ever seen Emmersyn Kate you would find Cydney. They loved playing doctor, playing with dolls, or just coloring together. Cydney was super proud of her and all of her nephews. Sloan was another one who loved Cydney to death. They always played and it was the same way if you seen Sloan you’d find Cydney. I always told Cydney that she needed to tell the kids to go play by themselves so she could talk with the grown ups some, but I was always reminded to mind my own business that she was right were she wanted to be.

We met in highschool at a party behind the old Aiken mall. I asked her to take me home and the rest is history. There was just something about her I loved. I knew one day we would get married. When I got into my wreck and lost my leg, she never batted an eye, never looked at me different and never once left my side. At 18 years old that says a lot about who Cydney Marie was. I got to marry my best friend on September 30th , 2023. She worked so hard on our wedding and it turned out perfect you couldn’t have asked for a better one. I will miss all the small things like the way she would turn her nose up if the food was shaped funny or her kicking me sitting on the couch wanting me to rub her leg or just her singing to Morgan wallen going down the road. I thank god he gave me almost 7 years with her, without her I wouldn’t be the man I am today. And for that I’m beyond grateful.

She will be missed by everyone, young and old. There will never be another Cydney Marie. Love you babe, till we meet again.

-Kyle
