Gabriela Amadilia Duarte-Cruz

Gabriela was a beautiful soul with a big heart and an unforgettable presence. Proud of her Guatemalan roots, she loved her family deeply and was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, and loved one to so many.

She was strong, loving, funny, loyal, and always knew how to make the people around her feel cared for. She was good at bringing people together, creating memories, and finding happiness in the little things. When Gabriela loved you, she loved you with her whole heart.

She was building a life with her wife, Jasmine and their family. Gabriela believed that love wasn’t simply something you said or felt. Love was an action, a choice, and something you showed every day. And that is exactly how she lived.

Gabriela left this world far too soon on June 1, 2026, alongside her mother. But her story will always be about so much more than the day she left us. It will be about the 34 years she lived, the people she loved, the memories she gave us, and the pieces of herself she left behind in every person who had the privilege of knowing her.

We will continue to speak her name, tell her stories, laugh at the memories, and carry her love with us wherever life takes us.
