Janette Bozarth G. Green
Janette Gibson Green born May 29, 1937, in Middlesboro, Kentucky to Andrew Jackson and Janette Gibson Bozarth. Their family moved to her father’s hometown of Northfield, New Jersey where she was raised as the eldest child with her two brothers. She graduated with Honors from Pleasantville High School in 1955. Jan was very artistic and enjoyed developing her talents throughout her life. In high school, she was recognized with multiple art awards and drew all the artwork in her graduating yearbook. She was popular and had many friends. Everybody loved Jannie! She was sweet, kind to others and always a lady. Jan was a contestant in the Miss Atlantic County Beauty Pageant. Upon Graduation she was employed by New Jersey Bell Telephone Company. In 1957, she married Richard E. Squires. They had three children and were divorced in 1970. Jan married Robert C. Jenson in 1971 and moved to Morgan, Utah. She loved her life with Bob in Utah and spent their summers enjoying camping with family and friends at many mountain and desert locations in Utah and Wyoming. Jan and Bob were avid rockhounds. Bob was stricken with Alzheimer's disease and after a long duration of Jan caring for him, he passed in 1998. She later met Mack Green through her church affiliations, and they Married in 2002. Jan was always caring and dedicated to assisting those in need. She and Mack were active with their church and spent much of their time doing charitable work and support for the people living in various Native American communities. Mack passed in 2005. Jan loved reading and would go from one book to the next. It was a very common sight to see Jan with book in hand. Jan had a great love for animals and cared for many throughout her life. She loved their company, and her dogs could not have had a better home. In 2014, she moved to Florida for the warmer climate and lived close to her son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Carol. She again became active at her local church. Jan enjoyed collecting seashells and finding fossilized shark teeth on the local beaches. From her children, she was a steady source of love, strength and encouragement in our lives. Words can't express the kind, wonderful person she was and what she meant to so many. A class act until the end. Jan passed peacefully at her home. Jan was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Richard, Robert, Mack, brother Andrew Bozarth, stepson Robert C.
