William Durr was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved his family more than anything, especially his son, Nash, who was the light of his life. William showed the love of Christ to everyone he met. He is missed by those he left behind. Taken too soon from her family, friends, and community, he was shot and killed on May 27, 2017 while working as a deputy for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.

My forever Hero
May 1, 2024. Soon, it will make 7 years you have been gone. You would be so proud of Nash and all his accomplishments and how much he is just like you. I hope I make you proud by choosing to continue to spread your story and do my best to honor you in everything I do. You are missed. I will love you forever.
