Larry Keith Lemon

Larry Keith Lemon, 68 was born to Cortis & Geraldine (Olson) lemon on June 20th, 1952 at Lincoln General Hospital in Lincoln,Nebraska. He passed away Friday January 20th,2021 at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln,Ne.

Larry grew up on a farm near Greenwood,Ne. He graduated from Ashland Greenwood High School in 1970.

After graduating he attended SCC in Milford where he received his HVAC license. He started working for Lincoln Telephone & telegraph in 1971 and retired in 2003 after 32 years. after retiring he went to work at Ace hardware in Lincoln. He worked there for 8 years. He moved back to Greenwood to his parents farm in 2009. In 2012 he started working at C & L Hardware in Ashland with Dean Curtis until his passing. Larry and Sandy were married September of 1984.

Larry LOVED life!! They took lots of trip with great friends on there Harley! a lot of good memories were made. He loved when he moved back to his home town and started work at the hardware store! He always said it was like old home week!! He knew everybody and LOVED to talk!

Larry was the one guy who you could always count on! he would give you the shirt of his back, he was always the helping hand!

Larry is survived by his wife Sandy Lemon of 36 years. 2 daughters Jessie (Caranza ) James of Greenwood , Stacey ( Jack) Tarr of Omaha. Grandchildren Nevaeh & Zack, Jackson & Addy. Brother John (Peggy) Lemon of Lincoln and many nieces and nephews.

Proceded in death by his parents Cortis & Gerldine Lemon and many extended family members.
