Cezarina Rodrigues Fernandes

Cezarina Fernandes, age 95, of Randolph, MA passed away Tuesday evening, December 31, 2019, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 29, 1924, in Cova Feijoal, Fogo, Cabo Verde, the daughter of Antonia Monteiro Rodrigues and Manuel Rodrigues Tavares. Gigi, as she was lovingly known to her family, was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Manuel Fernandes, along with three siblings. Gigi is survived by her eleven children, Antonia Lopes, Alberto Fernandes, Pedro Fernandes, Luis Fernandes, Maria Andrade, Manuel Fernandes, Justino Fernandes, Justina DoCanto, Victoria Fernandes, Manuela Fernandes, and Balbina Fernandes, along with 29 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. She enjoyed dancing, listening to Morna, adored the color purple and polka dots (or "pingu pingu" as she called it) to go along with her unmatched sense of humor.
