“I will not say goodbye”
Brody was born July 8, 1999 to Robert and Shauna (Thacker) Adkins. When he was two, his mom remarried to Steven brown. Steve raised and loved Brody as though he was his own. Growing up, he loved skateboarding, dirt bikes, four wheelers, and anything involving mud. He graduated from Allen central high school and then went to Lincoln tech for mechanics. He then got married to Nikki Owens and they had five beautiful girls, Riley, Brynleigh, and triplets adalynn, harlynn, and navie. Harlynn was stillborn Oct 11, 2021 and adalynn passed April 25 when she was six months old. Brody loved his girls. He loved family beach trips and concerts. He was a die hard fan of the Reds. He loved deer hunting and guns. He would buy, sell, and trade guns all the time. He worked at copperhead gun range for a while. He was also a car salesman at Hutch. When he passed, he was working as a diesel mechanic for his step dad. Brody would help anyone that needed it and he could make you laugh like no one else. On January 2, 2024 Brody lost his battle with depression and took his own life, leaving behind many friends and family. He was loved by so many people, and still is. The last thing he did before he died was text his mommy “love ya” He had so much to live for and so many people who loved him. We are all devastated by his passing. We take comfort in knowing that he is now in heaven with his two baby girls but miss him like hell down here. I hope you’re at peace now sweet boy. Love, mommy
