Mason was a happy healthy boy & was the light of his mom & dads life. Mason went kindergarten thru high school in Pleasant Hope Missouri where he graduated in 2017. Throughout Mason's life he played football,soccer,t-ball & base ball ,wrestling & ran cross country his freshman year of school. He took guitar lessons & was in the Navy Sea Cadettes where he went to cadet boot camp for a week in Ft Dodge IA.. He was in cub / boy scouts from kindergarten thru high school earning his ranks to become an Eagle Scout .He told his mom only a week before he passed that he had the best time of his life growing up in boy scouts. And Especially loved wrestling & playing rough with his buddies Calvin & Cody Mitchell , Caleb Dunaway ,Duncan ,Seth and all the rest of the boys . Mason took many camping trips with the boy scouts including South Dakota & Virgina beach. He also loved religion & church from a very young age .He knew about many religions .As a small kid in elementary Mason wanted to be Jewish because ...Jesus was . He talked his mom who is not Jewish to taking him to a synagog . He actually knew a few words in Hebrew and said the words along with them at the service. He attended Brighton Assembly church every Wed. until almost high school . As an adult he still enjoyed going to church & attended many churches .Mason had a sense of humor & loved to laugh & get a ride out of you. Especially his parents just for fun.....He also had a nick name for almost everyone he knew.Usually it started with Dill or Dirt. His sense of humor & smile were irreplaceable...you never knew what he might say. Mason was also a great older cousin he was protective over his little cousin Araya & he loved & cared very much for her.He wanted to make sure she knew Jesus Christ . Mason loved kids and expressed how he hoped to get married & have his own one day. Mason loved his friends and cutting up & laughing with them.He had compassion for people who were down on there luck & would help them however he could. He loved to talk on the phone pacing back and forth earning him the nick name 'Pacin Mason' .He loved music and had a great variety he listened too. Dio Rainbow ,Deep Purple with Ritchie Blackmore were some of his favorites. He still loved to watch WWE wrestling & the new Star Wars show .Mason worked several construction jobs including working with Brady his dad as a hod carrier & was employed with a framer at his passing. He also worked as a plumbers apprentice in the past.He had a goal he when he passed expressing his desire to return to plumbing and continue learning the trade .He left on the weekend of July 30 2022 with friends that his family didn't know to KC Missouri in hopes of going to a concert .He never made it to a concert or barely out of the room that was rented , his new clothes were borrowed by his new friend & not returned and was tricked into doing something laced with illicit fentanyl. It took his life so quickly & tragically & he died while he was alone with no family around .Some of his family spoke up before he left that weekend to Mason and expressed there feelings about him going away.He thought he was invincible and told them he trusted the friends & nothing was going to happen and if it does he was "going with Jesus Christ" .He is missed beyond words and and his absence fills his family's heart with sadness every single day ,we try to find joy in thinking of the funny things he would say & jokes he liked to play and the good times we did have ..His life was unfairly taken away too soon & ended on August 1,2022 at 23 years of age.

Anakin Skywalker

Mason & Brady loved Star Wars. His dad had some old original star wars that were his as a kid put up in a case to look at once and awhile.Mason loved to look at Bradys star wars case and started his own collection .So at age 3 Brady watched the first Star wars movies and Mason was hooked! He wanted to dress up as Anakin Skywalker for every Halloween .I had to have back up mini light sabers because he would carry them around so much and loose them and panic..I also had to have a stash of extra mini hands for the figurines because they kept getting hands chopped off.Id say don't take there hands off buddy you will loose them and he told me I didn't Darth Vader did...He would obsess over Growing up looking like Anakin Skywalker .Everyday he would ask .......and funny enough Mason grew up to look very similar to one of the guys who played Anakin Skywalker....
