Zeke Torres
"Life is short but the love of a dog lasts forever."
Zeke was the unofficial first child of Joreida Torres, with a pup shower and the works! When he was just a floofball he was introduced to Joreida's coworkers, at a global media company. He was quick to find the Division President's office and relieve himself right outside the door. Coworkers thought it was comical.
About six months after bringing Zeke into his forever home he flew overseas to live with Joreida in Israel. He loved chasing kitty cats, even if they slapped him around. He followed mama Joreida everywhere! From Virginia, Israel, Florida, North Carolina, Colorado, California, and a few places in between. He loved the beach just as much as he loved snuggling on the couch.
In his later years, he lived with his grandpa - recovering from surgery whilst his human sister recovered from her medical surgeries. It was a tough period for the family, but FaceTime made it possible to keep in touch over long distances. He made friends wherever he went, including grandpa's house where he frolicked with an almost identical ShihTzu.
He was well loved and cherished. And although his final days were labored with a disease Zeke left this world in an everlasting sleep. Those who knew and loved him best wept until our tear ducts were dry. His feisty, stubborn, comical personality will forever be one of the most unique ShihTzu memories.
