Happy birthday brudder, wishing you were here 😭😭🫶
Jayden Gregory Drinnen left an irreplaceable mark on every person that he met. Born on April 23, 2004, Jayden would become the second youngest of six children. He attended kindergarten through eighth grade at Magdalen Catholic School. Since the beginning of his education, Jayden was eager to learn and explore various activities, including basketball, Cub Scouts, and his love of drawing. While studying at Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School, Jayden tried some new interests. He played football at the beginning of high school, where he met some new friends and learned that athletics weren’t necessarily his favorite hobby. However, Jayden did foster a love for weightlifting. The truest of friendships came in class, most especially when he joined the theater program as a set designer. Those who love Jayden would describe him as humorous, kind-hearted, and the most selfless person they have ever met. Jayden was passionate about making a difference in his community, while also being a bit rebellious at the same time. He built and maintained a Paxton’s Blessing Box, which helped provide resources to those struggling in the Wichita community. Keeping a legacy with the Boy Scouts, he earned lifetime status through St. Vincent De Paul Troop 584. He would also throw an occasional house party when his parents were out of town. Jayden worked for the family HVAC business, lifeguarded during the summers, and as a waiter at Stearman Airfield Bar and Grill. In Jayden’s free time, he enjoyed going camping with his family, going to the gym, and hanging out with friends. Because understanding mathematics came naturally to Jayden, he decided to major in accounting and begin his collegiate education at Butler Community College. He made the Presidents Honor Roll and was accepted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society during his first year at Butler, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Jayden is remembered for his willingness to lend a judgment-free ear to those who needed it the most, he is remembered for being a reliable friend, he is remembered for always making us laugh in the most serious situations, he is remembered for being a great role model to his young nieces and nephew, and he is remembered for making a difference in each of our lives.
