Vernon Len Thomason Jr.
When Tomorrow Starts Without Me… When tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, That an angel came and called my name, and took me by the hand; The angel said my place was ready, In Heaven far above, And that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love. But when I walked through Heaven's Gates, I felt so much at home, for God looked down, smiled at me, And told me "Welcome Home." So when tomorrow starts without me, Don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, I'm right there in your heart.
Vernon was a hard worker who loved his children more than anything in this world. He has two sons, Hagen Lane and Cameron Joseph, one daughter, Kaylie Marie. He was always there when you needed him and always willing to give you the shirt off his back. He could make you laugh, give you a helping hand, give you encouragement or just chat for hours. He loved farming, fishing, but most of all hunting. Vernon worked offshore for many years, in the times he wasn’t offshore, he worked on a farm doing what he loved. He was just a down to earth, good ol country boy. His family and friends will forever miss him but we will never forget him. Vernon will live on in our hearts forever.
