Deborah Keck Kittle
So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Psalm 90:12
Dede loved pink and purple, crime shows, Coca-Cola, her family, and Jesus. She lit up any room with chatter and laughter. She never missed a ball game. She went to North Myrtle Beach every Summer to her parent’s vacation home. She loved Christmas the most and filled her whole guest bedroom with presents each year. She always had her nails done, most of the time in pink. She loved reading on her Kindle and always downloaded games on her phone for her grandkids. She sang Happy Birthday extra loud at the crack of dawn on your birthday. And on hers, she always had red velvet cake. She ended every phone call with “I love you great.” She kept our favorite snacks at her house. When we were all together, she would force us to put our phones in the middle of the table so that we would be present with each other. She always sang “Patches” by Clarence Carter and “Honey” by Bobby Goldsboro aggressively and not very well. She would show affection by pinching you as hard as physically possible. She always wore big earrings and jingly bracelets. She was so, so special.
