"Can't kick ass without Tanker gas!"
David served in the armed forces. We honor that service here.
Pickle was born May 21, 1948 in Windsor, MO to James Freeman Shreve and Edith Irene (Tracy) Shreve. He was raised by his step-father Ralph Shreve. He graduated from Gardner High School in 1966. David was a life-long area resident but resided in California and Idaho for a while. He served in the Air Force as a Staff Sergeant E5 from 1967-1971. December 31, 1979, he and his ex-wife welcomed twin girls that he would adore (they adored him just as much) up to the day of his passing. David married Julie Trigg on Dec. 7, 1990 in South Lake Tahoe, California. He was a member of Local Labor Union #1290. David worked for Holland Construction and William White and Sons. He was a member of American Legion Post #19 and a life-member of the VFW Post both of Gardner. David was quite the character: ORNERY, a trouble maker, and fiercely loyal. He ADORED spending time with his grandchildren, and his infinite number of friends. He loved pissing off his girls by egging on his son-in-laws, and they equally loved him doing it!
