Linda had a big heart and an infectious laugh. She somehow managed to be caring, but not abide inauthentic people. She was a doting aunt, a caring nurse, a sister, and a friend. She loved her dog Linus, anything purple, Winnie the Pooh, and her family. She was famous for cross-stitch, coloring, suckers, and raisin-filled cookies. She was beloved by her family and is deeply missed.
She was born in Orangeville, Utah. She earned her LPN and worked as a nurse in various facilities throughout the Salt Lake Valley for many years.
Last night, my sweet sister,
Linda Ware, left this earthly life for a much better place. There was a beautiful reunion with her parents, grandparents and her Savior as they quietly welcomed her to heaven.
She hasn’t seen her mother for over 42 years and she finally met the Grandmother she was named after, Orlinda Ware.
Linda was quick witted, queen of the eye roll, fun to chat with, talented and dearly loved by her family.
She will be very missed. I’m so grateful she is no longer hurting and is free to run in her beautiful white dress. I love you Linda and I’m so glad you are my sister.
Today we celebrated the life of my Aunt Linda Ware. A lot of family on both sides of our family traveled to be there and Linda’s “gang” of childhood friends traveled to also be there. It was a very nice service.
The hardest part about my job is losing wonderful patients who become my very dear friends. It’s never easy. This one especially hurts. I love this lady. She was sassy and quick witted. Stubborn with a heart of gold and a sense of humor like no other. I will miss bickering, laughing, gossiping, and just good ole visits with her. Love you Linda. So glad you are out of pain and finally free. Wish I could see your beautiful smile right now as you reunite with your parents and other loved ones. I will miss you until I see you again my friend.
My dearest friend I am writing this with tears streaming down my face. I have been sitting thinking of all of the many times that we laughed together and the adventures we had been on. I thought about those many many years ago when we first met in 1985, I don't even recall the name of the nursing home that we both worked you were one tough cookie but under that was a heart of pure gold and we quickly became great friends I always admired you for working so many years in that area of care, and area that I just couldn't do I remember having lots of talks about it and you assuring me not all ppl were cut out for it and you were right. After I left we became best of buds spending hours together talking about life. We constantly had heated debates about Coke Vs Pepsi so when I read you had become a Dr Pepper fan that was a relief. We spent many hours on the phone talking we both shared out deepest thoughts. Last week I had the strongest urge to call but I just kept pushing it off thinking I will do it next week I am heart broken that I didn't call. I am posting pictures of your Birthday Balloon flight that I had the honor and privilege to be a part of, the pure joy In your face that day, made it so amazing. I Love you so very much Linda Ware and will miss you so much. I am truly grateful for everything you did for ma and the girls. I am also grateful that I have a Linda ware one of a kind cross stitch which I still hang in each new place I move to. I am happy that you are free from the pain I know you suffered from. I also know that I now have a new guardian angel to guide me. UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN!
