Life story

Adalynn, Harlynn, and Navie Adkins were triplets, born in Cincinnati on October 11, 2021. They were born prematurely. Adalynn and Harlynn were identical and had twin-twin transfusion syndrome. Harlynn was stillborn and is buried directly beside her sister, Adalynn. Adalynn spent several months in NICU before coming home. She had a brain bleed at birth, damaging her brain and eventually leading to hydrocephalus. She died at home when she was 6 months old, with her parents and grandparents holding her tiny hands. Her actual date of death is April 25 at 11:24pm, but she wasn’t declared deceased by hospice until early morning of the 26th so that is listed as her date of death. Adalynn has three surving sisters, Riley, Brynleigh, and Navie, the third triplet. Her father, Brody Adkins, followed her in death January 2, 2024 and is buried at a family cemetery in Langley, Ky. The graves below Adalynn are her uncle Dusty, her grandfather Scotty, and her great grandmother, Debbie. Adalynn is loved and missed by her sisters, her mother, and her grandparents. She was our sunshine. Although our time with her was short, she made a huge impact on us all.
