"Hero's are remembered, Legends never die. Follow your heart, and you will never go wrong."
Life story

Connor's favorite quote was "Hero's are remembered, Legends never die. Follow your heart, and you will never go wrong." Connor had a way of lighting up a room, it could have been a joke, his smile or laugh that was just short of contagious or by just being there when you needed him to be.

Connor never did anything half way. If it was worth doing to him, he was all in all the time, or as we came to know it as FULL SEND. Connor was his own person and damn those who tried to make him otherwise. Connor worked hard and played hard. Connor loved to love everyone that would stand with him and not shy to stand up to those that would oppose him or for those who could not stand up for themselves.

Connor's greatest passions were his family, friends, motorcycles, fishing, and playing paintball. Connor held the up most respect for those who served our country and for first responders.

While many of us knew a slightly different Connor over the years, there is a fact that there was only and will ever be one Connor. We will see you later Connor, love you! #FullSendsForConnor #Forever32

Dad

Alright well 22 huh. Not known as a very momentous birthday, but to me it’s only the second one away from you. I still don’t really understand that night, or many nights since then, but I like to think the best parts of us being together will live long past both our days. In the beginning I really wasn’t sure how to be a father and now even worse I don’t know how to not be one. Nothing will ever be the same and I struggle most days and nightmares plague my nights. How can you put a puzzle together when all the pieces aren’t there? What do I do? How do I do it? Will I ever be strong enough for your mom? Only a few of the many questions I have all the time. There is one thing, you know my world doesn’t turn the same without you in it, and I hope I have the strength to be the person you called dad because you were, and will always be the person I was proud to call son. Happy birthday my boy and I hope when these years dry they make it up to you, love dad.

Mom

Well Bubba, it’s been 4 long years, yet some days it feels like it was just yesterday. I thought I would have never made it this long without you. You were always my bright light shining every day. You still are, its just in a different way than I could have ever imagined. You taught me so much about life in your short 20 years. The battles and hills we had to climb, but there you were always by my side saying bring it on! I miss your infectious smile and laugh. You never wanted to see those you loved being sad. You always knew what to say to cheer them up. You got people to do things they didn’t have the courage to do on their own. You conveyed self worth to so many, including me. You had the gift to gab and made friends wherever you were. You didn’t know a stranger. My biggest fear has been that you would be forgotten. Then I think of all the stories that have continued to be shared with me over the last 4 years, some a little TMI, but the stories and memories tell me that you made a difference, not only in my life, but in so many others. Your legacy is what life is really about and what I will continue to strive for. It’s not fancy cars, big houses, or “the perfect body”. You taught me to just go for it, smile and laugh, and help others any chance I get. Your legacy has kept your friends in our lives to this day that I treasure each and every day for each and every one of them. If you got a chance, take it, take it while you got a chance. If you got a dream, chase it, ‘cause a dream won’t chase you back. If you’re gonna love somebody, hold ‘em as long and as strong and as close as you can, til you can’t. Don’t wait on tomorrow ‘cause tomorrow may not show. Say your sorries, your I-love-yous, ‘cause man you never know. I love you Connor James and miss you so damn much! Until I see that huge smile and those arms opened wide for a hug, I am going to keep fighting this fight! #FullSendsForConnor #ForeverNumber32

4 years ago I got the worst call of my life from my brother in law, we’ve lost Connor. The pain of you not being here doesn’t get easier, we have to find new ways to deal with it. You touched so many lives I don’t think you understand the impact you had on people. There’s a precious angel here on earth that was given your name, your legacy will live on. Friends and family hug your family and the people that are in your lives. Tell them what they mean to you. Tell them today because we don’t know what tomorrow holds. I love you Connor James. Give us a little wink from above today.

I only knew Connor for a few months before he passed but he made a huge impact in my life. Connor was the type of guy to always put his family and friends first before himself. He always knew how to cheer me up when I was down. It definitely didn't take much between either his stupid jokes, smile or his bear hugs. What we would all do for one more hug from him. Connor was the one guy that took the time out of his day to show me how to ride a motorcycle. I've always loved to ride but was always a "backpack." The day before he passed, he pushed me into learning how to ride. We rode to the stunt lot and he said "Okay your turn. Take it slow and if you drop Blue, oh well. She's naked anyways." Because of Connor, I can now go out and ride on my own. Everytime I get on Blue, I know he's flying next to me keeping me safe. Please keep watching over your family and friends. I miss you so much B💙

About two years ago I bought my first motorcycle, but I was what you would call a lone rider. I had maybe 5 friends that I would ride with but it wasn’t very often and Conner became one of them. A year goes by and I decide it’s time for an upgrade and he just happened to be doing the same so I ended up buying his first bike which is the bike pictured below. He then used that money to buy his gsxr. Pretty much every day after that we rode together. Over the course of the next few months, I got to meet so many awesome folks through him and I now consider them some of my best friends. It absolutely sucks to see you go like this. Rest easy man.

Connor you blessed so many hearts around you. It was an absolute blessing to be called your cousin. Jamie and Joel love you so much and they are so lucky to be your parents. You were the best cousin ever. I loved hanging with you on holidays and seeing your beautiful smile. I remember when we used to pretend to wrestle each other and you would always say you won but everyone knew that i won. I love seeing all the memories you had with others. I’m gonna miss you so so much Connor and I can’t wait to see you again someday. We may never know what actually happened or what was going through your mind but what we do know is that we love you and you will always be in our hearts. You will always be remembered for your kind, caring and courageous soul. You touched so many hearts and anybody that knew you, they were truly lucky. I’m so glad you are my family. Fly high buddy we will miss you❤️❤️❤️❤️🥺

Connor I remember the day you were born like it was just yesterday. I was a senior in college and was swimming in my last meet. I remember getting the call and mamaw and papaw took off from Omaha to Kearney during a really bad snow storm to see you make your entrance into this world. I didn’t sleep a wink that night. I just kept waiting for the text to say you were here. I finally got it and man I couldn’t wait to hold you and meet you. Here’s a picture from the very first time I met you. I’ve loved you from day one and will forever. Your mom and Joel are hurting right now like everyone is whose lives you touched. Make sure to send us all signs every now and then. This is not good-bye but I’ll see you again some day. Rest easy my little Connor-Man.
