Life story

Deborah Renee Robinson was born on April 18, 1968, to Josie Mae Walker and Judson Cunningham Jr, in the city of Augusta, GA. At an early age, Deborah was baptized at Jones Grove Baptist Church and became an official member.

Deborah grew up in Waynesboro, GA and was a Class of 1987 graduate of Waynesboro High School. She attended Ashworth College and graduated Cum Laude receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Deborah’s career path was a Quality Engineer for Air Life and she worked her corporate career home-based job up until 2 days the Lord called her home. She is the owner and fitness coach of D’Elite Fitness where the mission statement is, “Turning Lives Around” that her legacy will continue to uphold through a non-profit organization, changing Fitness to Foundation. Deborah resided in Atlanta, GA, near her children and grandchildren, but home was always Hephzibah, GA, with the home she and her husband, Eric Robinson built together. Deborah became a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated, April 2020 Nu Zeta Sigma Chapter Incorporated, where she is now inducted into Omega Rho.

Deborah and Eric have been married for 26 years and recently celebrated their milestone 25th Anniversary with close family and friends. Deborah is the mother of Katrice Walker and Denver Robinson. Anyone that knows Deborah knows these two and her 3 grandchildren, who affectionately call her Mimi, Logan, Brooklin, and QE Clopton.

Deborah was loving, vibrant, selfless, strong (mentally and physically), beautiful (inside and out), she was light, a true friend, a diva, a fitness Queen, and the heart of her family, a woman whose warmth and loyalty left a lasting legacy. In the past few months, her close circle has seen her as strength, fearless, faith-filled, and a true warrior. She walked this journey with her head held high, with strength as strong as her name, and never complained once. She has shown the true definition of grace and God’s Warrior.

Deborah was and continues to be the glue of her family, friends, and close circle. She took care of her 86 year old mother until she couldn’t anymore, and still delegated task and a tight schedule, and for that she will forever be her Momma’s Girl, her mother’s first. She basked in being Mrs. Robinson and cherished their marriage to her loving husband, who they never called each other by their names, it was always D & E. She and her daughter, Trice were best friends. This was her high school and early life baby. After she wed, Deborah and Eric conceived Denver, who was Momma’s Boy and will forever be Momma’s boy. She had a special bond with her oldest granddaughter, Logan, they called each other, Bestie, Girl, and twin and Logan also has her Mimi’s Middle name. Her second granddaughter they shared television shows together and could be caught on the dance floor together at every event or even in the kitchen, and just when Denver thought another guy could never hold a place in his mother’s heart, then came her grandson, QE who he and his Mimi shared their bond over pancakes, bacon, and sweet potato pie.

When diagnosed with her illness, her primary goal was to get to see her son, Denver graduate from Kennesaw State University May, 2026, and to also see her niece Madison graduate from Ohio State University, and now she will get the best view ever, which will be a void for us, but the best view one can see.

Deborah Renee Robinson departed this life on February 6, 2026, after a long day of telling her loved ones, Good Byes, She was prayed over by Elder Alma Martin, her niece Porshia Cunningham, and The Gaither/Martin family. She took her last 3 breaths peacefully surrounded by her husband, daughter, son, and niece at 9:11 pm.

Deborah is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Cunningham, sister-in-love, Patricia Roberson, brothers, Alvin Cunningham and Ricky Walker, her mother-in-love, Mary Roberson, her father, Judson Cunningham, Jr., and will be welcomed at the gates by them and her other family members that has gone before her.

She leaves her love and precious memories to her beloved husband of 26 years, Eric Robinson, her Legacy to her son and daughter, Denver Robinson and Katrice Walker, and her grandchildren, Logan, Brooklin, and Quentin (Q.E.).

She leaves behind her bonus sons, Jordan Robinson, Damian Chance, Kennard McBride, and bonus grandchildren; Godson, Jovan Johnson and Goddaughter, Asia Carter, and those special nieces and nephews who, some may even be little cousins.

Miss you everyday

Thank you for the life you gave me mommy. I miss you everyday. You taught me strength, love, grace, and so much more, but you didn’t teach me how to live this life without you. Lord knows I’m trying each and every day, and some days are lighter than others. I miss your voice, your hugs, your, I love you mores, your presence. I thought we had forever. I will keep going and strive for my best everyday because that’s what you instilled in me and I will make sure your legacy will forever remember you. I’m grateful for the pieces I see in Denver, Logan, Brooklin, & QE. I love you my girl; my world. Forever ❤️
