Brad eulogy lucas
For those that don't know me, I'm Brad Casey and for the past decade I have been fortunate to call Lucas Moulder my friend. I first met Lucas as many of his friends did, at the local game store, Little Wars. It was here that all the slightly weird socially awkward types got together to play games and relax around people that shared their interests. And everyone knew Lucas. Even when he was just a teenager, he was up at the shop playing games anyone who would play him or getting into an argument about something he was passionate about, which included just about everything. Lucas had such a marvelous conviction about his beliefs and a restlessness about getting all of his thoughts out there that you couldn't help but get pulled into his conversations. Over the years, this quirky little kid with a fedora became a friend who went on trips with us out of town to play games in different cities or to go to conventions. There hasn't been a movie in the past few years that I haven't either seen with Lucas or at his suggestion. Lucas was a caring person. I know, when someone's up here talking they aren't going to speak ill of the dead and of course they're going to say he was a good person. But I mean it here. Lucas took on the burden of organizing plenty of events so the rest of us could have fun without having to worry about the chore of managing things. When Erin and I were stuck in Las Vegas unexpectantly due to a layover, he got back to me within minutes about where to go and what to do so the night wasn't a waste. He was considerate towards others, he was a caring friend, and we will all miss him.
