Georgann & Joe Ford
“True love stories never have endings.”
Georgann and Joe Ford married June 12, 1950 and they enjoyed 71 loving years together prior to their passing. They leave behind five children: Steve (Donna) Ford, Joann (Eddie) Moore, Mickey Ford, Tom (Helen) Ford and Linda Sue Ford Bell; 14 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
There were preceded in death by their grandchildren Larry Joe and Leslie Ford Thompson; and great-granddaughter Emily Thompson.
Georgann and Joe were a true love story. Even after 71 years, they were still always holding hands and kissing. When Georgann “Granny’s” family would tell her “I love you,” she would always reply, “I love you more.” She was full of laughter and beauty. Joe “papaw” was a pillar of strength and guidance for his family.
They were loved immensely and will be greatly missed.
