Mental Health Tips by Kenyon Snow Do something of purpose each day. Then through out the day be proud of what you did. Keep the outside world OUTSIDE. Make life simpler. It’s ok to feel like shit sometimes. And it’s ok to not always be a “performer”. Find one thing about 1 positive thing inside about the apartment each day. Get into a pattern that, no matter what, makes you happy. Work at getting back into church. Small things first, then work on bigger things. 10 Rules For Every Human 1. You will receive a body. You may like it or not, but it’s yours to keep. 2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full time school called LIFE. 3. There are no mistakes only lessons. Growth is a process of trial, error and expectations. The “failed” experiments are just as important in the process as the successful experiments. 4. Lessons are repeated until they are learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it you will move onto the next lesson. 5. Learning lessons does not end. There is no part of life that doesn’t contain lessons. If you’re alive, there are still lessons to be learned. 6. “There” is no better place than “here”. When your “there” has become a “here,” you will simply obtain another “there” that will again, look better than “here.” 7. Other people of merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself. Each reflection is an opportunity for growth. 8. What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need, what you make of them is up to you. The choice is yours. 9. The answers lie within you. The answers to life’s questions lie inside you. All you need do is look, listen and trust. 10. You will probably forget all of this. Throughout the process of life, you will have opportunities to remember if you choose.
