Life story

When John Rae Atwood was born on 19 November 1921, in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Utah, his father, John Leslie Atwood, was 32 and his mother, Hazel Elizabeth Carlisle, was 33. He married Norma King on 15 September 1944, in Mesa, Maricopa, Arizona. They were the parents of 2 sons and 3 daughters. John lived in Pleasant Grove Election Precinct, Utah County, Utah in 1940. He registered for military service in 1942. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp from 1942 until April 1946. During WWII John was a B-25 Pilot in the Pacific. He died on 29 February 2012, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, at the age of 90, and was buried in Pleasant Grove City Cemetery, Pleasant Grove, Utah. I think he would say that he had a very good life.
