As the core of our family, Jose Ramiro Nava was the ultimate representation of strength, resilience, love, and gratitude. He is forever missed.
Jose "Ramiro" Nava was from La Magdalena, Michoacan, Mexico where he grew up with nine brothers and sisters. He built his own family of four children with his wife Maria Nava and moved them to Riverside, California where they resided for the duration of his life. Jose was known and respected by many due to his caring and loving heart. He was extremely proud of his children and his 11 grandchildren. Jose spent his time gardening in his front and back yards, playing cards, going to the casino with his wife, and spending the weekends with his family. He was an amazing story teller and could get an entire room laughing when he told everyone about his memories of growing up. He was always one to be grateful of the little things seeing as he grew up with very little and worked hard to achieve the life he had. Jose would be so incredibly happy to know that his family is continuing to grow and that he now is the Ito of a great-granddaughter as well. He created a legacy that will live on forever.
