Jacob Joseph Kaiser
So when tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we’re far apart, for every time you think of me, I’m right here in your heart. By David M. Romano
Jacob Joseph Kaiser was a beautiful soul! Through his years, I watched as he flourished into a handsome, respectful, and adventurous young man. He had all the qualities I already spoke of but was also determined, strong, passionate, loyal, and generous…I really could go on and on. I mean, he was the type of person who cut his “Bieberdo,” AKA longer shaggy hair, into a short haircut so that when his dad woke up after having cancer surgery, he would see Jacob's short hair and smile (Dad always liked short hair, and Jacob just wanted to make his dad smile). Jacob would walk up to the neighbor across the street and help her carry her groceries in without being told or asked, he would help a complete stranger they were broke down on the side of the road, he would open the door for people, he would be so mad on one day at his sisters for leaving a mess in his room while playing video games that he would say they can't be in there anymore, but then the next day he would let them come in and play. He would bring home animal after animal after animal and would bottle feed them to try and save their lives; as cliche as it sounds, he would give you the shirt off his back or his last dollar. Actually, he did just that with his youngest cousin just a few weeks before he passed. Jacob loved the outdoors, cars, and motorcycles and lived life to the fullest and a hope that I use to let me smile is that he is still living to the fullest through the 4 life-saving organs/tissues he was able to donate.
I wholeheartedly believe that we will see Jacob again someday…but meanwhile, I want you all to love hard while the people you love are with you, and for our baby boy Jacob, no matter if you're here or in heaven, you will always be my sunshine!
Our God is an amazing God, and even though I don't understand why God let a drunk driver take Jacob from us, I just have to trust that God needed Jacob a little more than we did.
