Life story

Tacie Diana Sorenson, our sweet little sunflower, passed away July 16, 2016 due to injuries sustained in an auto-pedestrian accident. Tacie was born October 14, 2008 in Vladivostok, Russia where she spent the first two-and-a-half years of her life in the Artem Baby Orphanage. During that same period her family knew they had a daughter somewhere out there wishing on the same bright star that we would find one another. Our prayers were answered on March 29, 2011 when she was adopted into our family and instantly filled our home with love, joy and laughter. She was the happiest, most loving little girl we knew. Her Christ-like love radiated as she constantly had a smile on her face, and would give hugs to those around her several times a day, and tell them she loved them. Tacie had her own unique sense of humor, and was always laughing and telling jokes. Tacie was sealed to our family in the Jordan River Temple on May 18, 2011. And now those same stars that we once wish upon are now windows from heaven as we anxiously await the day that we will be reunited forever.
