In loving memory, forever & always
Jordan Anthony Richard Koopman - Sir
You get what you get and you don’t throw a fit - 6 year old Jordan
Jordan Koopman graduated from his human form on 9/21/22. While Jordan was only on this earth for 18 short years he impacted many people. Jordan was a student at Autism Academy in Tempe Arizona. He loved finding creative ways to connect with people. One way was his many business adventures. Whether selling fidget spinners (he made from bike chain) 3-d printed art or anything bulk he could find on wish. He found ways to connect and make pocket money.
Through his junior and senior year Jordan brought many smiles to the students and staff. One of the ways was hiding rubber ducks around the campus for everyone to find.
While Jordan was known for hiding these ducks to bring a smile, he was also known for his generosity.
His willingness to lend an open ear. To talk to friends about their problems. To help each of us see the world in more positive ways. Jordan was a peacemaker. He would console friends in conflict.
Jordan had love for everyone, no matter who you were or who you knew. He advocated for kids that could not find their voice. In senior year Jordan started teaching his math class when his teacher was out. He also started a 3-d print club for his school and shared his passion of crafting with all. Jordan just started his first business class as Mesa community college. He planned to live in the dorms the following year (if mom allowed ☺️)
Jordan was so many things to different people. He embodied love for all.
We continue to hide ducks in his honor, to not forget his work of kindness and that love makes a difference in the world. One small gesture can change someone's outlook, allow them to be seen, to feel heard and to know they matter. In a world where we can be anything, let’s be kind to each other.
Bring joy, spread love. Let's be everything Jordan embodied and taught us. The world could use so much more of this. Rise in love Jordan Anthony Richard Koopman. Until we meet again.
