"Live Like Ty"
Life story

Ty passed away on June 1, 2022 from a heat stroke at his place of employment at the young age of 23. Tyler graduated from Marion Local High School in 2018 and from BGSU with a BS in Early Childhood Education in 2022. He was looking forward to starting his teaching career at Spencerville Schools. Tyler was a 3-sport highschool athlete playing football, basketball, and track. He was involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes, various high school clubs, and was an active member of St. Rose Catholic Church. He loved sports, but even more he enjoyed spending time with children and his many high school and college friends, as no one was a stranger to him. Tyler’s true character is one that all should strive to have as he made a positive impact on many. He was a humble man, was always smiling, had a very contagious laugh, carried a positive attitude, and wanted no individual to be left out. He attempted to include everyone and be a good example to all. Ty will forever be in our hearts and we hope to carry on his legacy each day by striving to "Live like Ty."

Wonderful Son

Tyler was such a wonderful son! He was a GREAT brother, Godfather to Harvey, cousin, teammate, and a friend to many. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face. He had that squinty eye and the biggest dimples. 😍 I was so lucky to be chosen as his Mom and to get to share so many precious memories with him. Of course his most cherished was winning the D-IV boys basketball state championship in 2018. After high school, he moved on to BGSU to become a teacher. He worked so hard to get that degree but I do believe he partied even harder. It breaks my heart everyday that he didn’t get to share his love of teaching with his love of children. 😢 Tyler Mark Mescher, I MISS YOU SO MUCH and I miss the joy and love you brought to our family. I never realized how much this hug would end up meaning to me. I LOVE YOU 😘!!! Until we meet again✝️🕊️
