Reflections.

I’ve written, deleted, and rewritten this over, and over again. I can’t write a cohesive thought about you. It’s overwhelming grief, and flooding with every single memory, and moment I’ve spend with you. We argued constantly when we were teenagers, but always still hung out. As adults we were all inseparable until life, and its responsibilities drew distance between all of us; but I’ve never stopped caring about you, and you were, and always are like a brother to me. Both you and Alex. Visiting your plot this morning, I’ve noticed the QR code, and this has made my morning a lot better. I love you Jordan, I miss you deeply, I have never and will never stop mourning this loss. There is no moving on from this, but only moving forward with. I volunteer three days a week with Samaritan’s Hope helping people who are struggling in your memory. We die twice, once in our physical form, and last when nobody remembers or speaks of us, and in this case you will live forever. I know you’re at peace, warm in the embrace, and presence of our savior. The world is emptier without you, my days more dull and hollow; but when god pulls my card, and it’s my time to go, I’ll run through those gates into eternity and give you a hug, and never let go. Until next time brother.

Missed Forever

My first born, my only son how I miss you, that smile, that laugh the monster bear hugs you would always give me while I was washing dishes. I miss you coming home at night, asking what’s to eat mom. Oh Jordan what I wouldn’t do to see those eyes and hear you call me mom. You are so missed words can’t describe it. I’m so lost without you. My heart aches every moment of the day. So many things bring you to my mind so many things stay in my heart. Daddy lost a son, Morgan lost a brother, I lost of piece of me the day you left me. No words my beautiful son. Forever you will be missed & forever you are loved. Love you always Jordan. 🙏🏻😭💔
