Luella Florence Hiller
Lue Hiller was born April 17, 1949, near Vang, ND to Fred and Bena (Johnson) Hiller. She grew up and attended school in Cavalier, graduating in 1967. She went on to attend Garth's School of Hair Design and graduated in 1969. In 1970, she married Jay Padden, with whom she had three daughters; Wendy (Paul) Peterson, Debbie (Bruce) Scheuing and Becky (Greg) Hornung. On May 7, 1990, she married Kelly Gratton with whom she had one daughter; Kellee (Travis) Thacker. She was a member of Big Pembina Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, baking and spending time with her family and beloved dog, Dixie.
