Morning sunrise at Cupsogue
This day, Joe and I were fishing out at Cupsogue with my dad. You can see in my face that I am not amused by my dad stopping us on our way to the fishing spot, but I am forever grateful that he captured this beautiful sunrise. To this day I have yet to see a sunrise more beautiful than that one. Whether for striped bass, bluefish, Albies, triggers, or even just trying to throw a line in, fishing at cupsogue was always an adventure filled with many memories and lots of fun. I look back on days like this one and smile, I made some of the best memories with Joseph. He may not be here physically, but the memories will never fade, his laugh and great personality will never be forgotten, and I will always have someone to talk to when I go down to the water. It’s a true blessing I was able to be close with Joe. God bless him and everyone around him.
