Stefan and Maria Boehm
Stefan and Maria Boehm were loving parents, grandparents and friends to many. Both immigrated to the United States from Europe after WWII left them with nothing. They both learned English, worked hard, and flourished in the United States. Stefan found work early as a grave digger in Los Angeles, and then found his home at Oscar Meyer, where he made sausages on the factory floor until his retirement. Maria worked too as a bank teller for Bank of America, also until her retirement. They had three children; Michael, Julie, and Lisa, who gave them their grandkids, Kjell, Lauren, Casey, Stefan, Suzanne, Cosette, Patrick, and Kyle. The Boehms adored celebrating holidays with their family most and were unrelenting in their love and support of their loved ones. Opa’s hobbies and talents included fishing, barbecuing, woodworking, and staying playful even through old age. Oma shined in her warm caring, throwing parties, delicious cooking and baking, sewing, and was a kind listener. They are missed and thought of always, and those who survive them live in their memory and legacy each day.
