Chad Thomas Golson

A loving father, husband, son and brother, Chad Thomas Golson died Monday, July 19, 2010, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. A resident of Central, Chad was born Oct. 6, 1971, to Thomas Eugene and Judith Anne Vince Golson. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, July 22, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by his wife, Haley Hoffman Golson; daughter, Karmyn Elise Golson, who will always be her daddy's "Pumpkin;" stepson, Maddox Stanford; and brother and best friend, Thomas Eugene "Gene" Golson. He is also survived by his parents, Thomas "Tommy" and Judith "Judi"; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbur T. and Mary Golson and Oscar and Gloria B. Vince; aunts, Teresa Vince McKelvy and Virginia Jackson Vince; and uncle, Billy Joe Moms. Chad was as kind and giving as a person could be. Always so soft spoken and gentle, he loved and cared for his family to the fullest and was always a "daddy" to his children. Life will never be the same, but Chad will always be in the hearts of everyone he touched.
