Life story

Anhtu Vu, age 28, born October 23, 1994 in Vietnam passed peacefully away on April 17, 2023 surrounded by family, friends, and his loving girlfriend. Anhtu was a passionate proponent of the fine arts and was involved in both theatre and comedy during his school years. Not only involved with the arts, Anhtu was a fierce academic who was in the middle of his Family Medicine Residency in Hoboken, NJ. Anhtu spent his free time playing tennis, traveling, and enjoying life. He leaves behind his loving parents, relatives, half-sisters, girlfriend, co-residents, and friends.

Anhtu was only 28 years old and had just begun his journey with life after completing medical school. He has shown himself to be a caring, compassionate, relatable, funny, and down-to-earth guy. He was not a quitter and underwent radiation and chemo treatments with a positive attitude. He always said that everything will be okay. His tattoo on his left forearm said “Amor Fati'' which means love of one’s fate and that's what he embodied.
